The CBR 15 kg HMS Olympic Bumper Plate is covered with the highest quality rubber. They are covered with a special, thick rubber that absorbs every impact, preventing damage to the floor in the event of a fall. CBR HMS plates achieve a Shore A hardness rating of 75 to 96, depending on their weight. This means they are significantly more durable than cheaper, rubber-coated plates available on the market.
Each plate is calibrated for weight and dimensions. This means that the disc's weight must be within +0.5% and -0.5%. The color coding of the plates assigned to each weight complies with the technical requirements of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). The inner diameter is matched to Olympic bars.
