As individual links in each chain lift off the floor, they increase the weight of the barbell. The barbell's weight reaches its maximum value at the highest point of the upward movement. The opposite occurs when the barbell is lowered. The weight then decreases proportionally to the amount of chain on the floor.
GR50 HMS chains positively influence the physiological processes occurring in muscles during exercise. This involves utilizing the phenomenon of post-activation amplification of contractile force (PAP) – muscle strength increases when, after the initial activation phase, maximum contractile force is enhanced. Using chains in strength training also improves movement speed.
