Maps optimized for users of different bicycles

The ROX 12.1 EVO comes with maps of numerous countries pre-installed. You can set off as soon as you have unpacked the bike computer! SIGMA has developed its own map display to help you find your way around the route optimally. Bike paths and trails are highlighted on the maps and always guide you along the best route, regardless of which road you are riding on or which bicycle you use. The compressed maps take up little memory, so many regions from around the world can be permanently installed. You can download additional maps and regular updates free of charge via WiFi, so you can always find the ideal route, anywhere.

Innovative navigation

Whether you want to enter an address or navigate to a “Point of Interest” (POI) on the map, bike navigation leaves nothing to limit you. With the Home Navigation function, your ROX 12.1 EVO will always guide you home via the fastest route. The Return to Start function guides you back to the starting point of your route – even along the same route if you wish. The various navigation functions can of course also be used independently, without connecting the ROX computer to the Internet or a smartphone.

Your route options

You decide which criteria your route should meet. You can choose from three route options: recommended, easiest or shortest. An elevation profile is also displayed for each route. In addition, you can set your route preferences individually for each sport profile (bike paths, main roads, unpaved roads).

Route guidance

The map can be displayed flexibly according to your needs, both large and small. During navigation, the route and navigation instructions are shown on the display. A pop-up window and an acoustic signal inform you about the next turn. The distance to the next turn and the street name are also displayed.

Loading routes – it’s that easy!

Loading routes has never been easier: Load routes from portals such as Strava or komoot, or import them in .gpx format into the SIGMA RIDE app. You can now display your routes clearly at any time, synchronize them with the ROX 12.1 EVO and start riding. This keeps the route list in the bike navigation clear at all times. Practical: You can save your favorite routes under “Favorites” for quick access.

Plan routes in advance

With the ROX 12.1 EVO, you can also plan your tours in advance. From the comfort of your sofa at home, create and save routes for your next cycling holiday. The routes created this way can be found in the route list.

Draw my route

A unique function for anyone who likes surprises. Discover new routes with the unique “Draw my route” function. Simply draw a circle (a loop), one or several lines on the display or map, and the ROX 12.1 EVO will suggest a route. Is the distance and elevation profile of the suggested route right for you? Then set off!

Intelligent route recalculation

The ROX will not leave you in the lurch! If you accidentally leave the planned route, the ROX quickly suggests a new route to your destination, including recalculation of the distance to the destination, estimated arrival time and elevation profile.

Individual sport profiles

Which bicycle do you want to choose today and which route do you want to ride – mountain bike, gravel bike or road bike? With six predefined sport profiles and 22 additional individually configurable sport profiles, the ROX 12.1 EVO is ready for every cycling adventure. Within the individual sport profiles, you can set training views, route preferences and alarms. Sport profiles can be easily created and individually modified on the ROX 12.1 EVO or in the SIGMA RIDE app – at any time, even during training.

STRAVA LIVE segments

Your workouts at a glance

The ROX 12.1 EVO helps you carry out structured and goal-oriented training. The most important workouts are already installed. You can also download workouts from portals such as TrainingPeaks to the ROX 12.1 EVO. Simply import them via the RIDE app and you can start training!

Food and drink alarm

To ensure an optimal supply of energy during competitions and training, the ROX 12.1 EVO reminds you to eat or drink whenever you wish, for example after a specific amount of time or distance. You can add your own text to the next individual alarm and decide whether the alarm should appear only once or be repeated.

Fancy a stationary workout?

Connect the ROX 12.1 EVO to a smart trainer or roller trainer. This allows you to use numerous bike computer functions during stationary training as well. If you do not use ZWIFT during stationary training, your ROX 12.1 EVO can take control of the workout using the trainer.

Power meter functions

Cycling sports can no longer be imagined without power meters. With this training tool, you can measure your performance precisely and improve it in a targeted manner. In addition to general power meter values, your ROX 12.1 EVO also displays specific values such as TSS®, NP® and IF®. You will also receive the OCA and OCP values of the 2INpower, INPower or INSpider rotor. Measured values can be displayed in the training views both as numbers and graphs. Pairing made easy

Would you like to record other important training data?

Via BLE and ANT+, you can easily and reliably connect external sensors for measuring speed, cadence and heart rate. The ROX 12.1 EVO is also available as a set with magnet-free speed and cadence sensors and a chest strap for measuring heart rate (sensors are also available as accessories). The ROX 12.1 EVO can also be paired and connected with other sensors and devices, such as electronic derailleurs or radar.

For a quick training analysis on the device, access your training sessions via the “My Activities” menu item. All values, graphs and the map view will help you analyze your training. Which of your routes was the longest, and what is your speed record? In the “Achievements” menu item, you will find a list of all your small and major successes – plus a trophy!

If that is not enough, the free SIGMA RIDE app provides detailed information on every ride and statistics that allow you to review and compare your progress over the past few weeks, months or years.

Compatible with E-Bikes

The ROX 12.1 EVO is the ideal partner for your e-bike trips. It can be easily paired with many e-bikes to display specific values such as range, battery status or support level, depending on the connected e-bike. In addition, shift recommendations can be shown on the display, helping you save energy and battery power.

The SIGMA RIDE app also supports you in analyzing your e-bike ride. Graphic profiles and heatmaps use different colors to visualize which part of the route was covered with which level of assistance, as well as the battery charge level during the ride and much more.

The free SIGMA RIDE app for iOS and Android allows you to analyze routes anywhere and at any time. Via BLE, the app transfers data from the ROX 12.1 EVO to your smartphone, collects training data and gives you insight into your statistics from the past weeks, months and even years. The RIDE app is an intelligent addition to the ROX 12.1 EVO, allowing even more convenient device configuration, management of routes from different platforms and transfer of these routes to the ROX 12.1 EVO.
